This movie is not just a masterpiece that showcases human nature at large. It really takes a voluntary effort to overcome our own interests and focus on a general state of well being as a guarantee that someone, in a future, grants us the same courtesy.
I will repeat: it takes overcoming our own egotistical “me, me” nature to be human. Otherwise, we are only beings full of fear, insecurities, stereotypes, racism and anger just to name a few of all possible labels. Not even animals, because animals don’t exhibit such traits. Beings! Shallow beings.
Luckily it only takes one to influence the others into becoming a better version of themselves. But the work of such only person is not only humongous and extenuating but courageous; just as the performance of Henry Fonda in this film was.
Quite a psychological study this ensemble portrayed!
