This is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons rock/pop American band’s members. As with anything Clint Eastwood sets his mind to direct, this film excels. It also made me feel the script was properly adapted from its original as a musical play. You get transported back to the 60’s without missing a detail, the music is actually sung by the actors and their personal stories are fascinating.
“Sherry”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “Walk Like A Man”, “Rag Doll”, “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” and my favorite, “Working My Way Back To You” are just timeless pieces of musical jewelry!
