Nothing like a well acted real life drama movie. The whole story is spanned throughout one single day and is told in a refreshing straightforward style in which the spoken words resulting from a well written narrative are the main special effect.

Patrick Stewart was as superb as he always is. The two other actors I didn’t know from before but also delivered compelling performances.

What is this movie about? There are layers, of course. Match, the movie title, suggest that for each decision we make in life, there are hidden consequences that may or may not fire back in the future. True, most of the time we are limited by the choices at hand and such decisions can actually feel forced and unavoidable but, what is true is that we all must attempt to match such decisions to whatever suits who we are best, avoiding the trap of clichés, standards, and what politically correctness expects from us. Otherwise, and rather sooner than later, we will only feel miserable with what we have decided.
