I had this movie in my pending list and for one reason or another, I kept postponing viewing it. Now I know why: I was upset with the story most of the time. It is so well told, so candidly filmed, so raw, that kills my heart to think people in the world still have so much work to do in terms of honesty, openness and acceptance.
Until when with the labeling, discrimination and rejection out of fear for what is different from what we know! If we could get a taste of our own medicine, the abuser abused, the bully bullied, the racist discriminated, the insensitive heart broken, the killer almost killed; if such was our consequence, perhaps we would then finally stop to play being God! Yes, this was an extraordinarily sad and thought provoking movie.
